If I had to refinish and repurpose all the items that I own, I would have done time and time again. Unfortunately, with my busy life, this fun hobby is almost impossible. In the past couple of years, I managed to find some way to do some of the items that I love. The bench shown below is one of those items.
This is a throwback to my son’s first birthday a few months ago. The theme was world little traveler and it was a big hit.
I’m not a big fan of cartoon-themed birthday, and when the boys are young I can be the one who picks the theme ( My son’s 5th birthday was Hotwheels cars 🙁 ya ya Hotwheels can you believe it? ) so when they are still young I can choose the theme or at least give them few options between the themes that I LIKE lol.
My son told me the other day: ” Mom I’ve never seen snow, ” in a very sad voice, and I realized yeah he is right! I remember the last winter when we went to Lake Tahoe, I told my husband: “This is the last time we will go to Lake Tahoe when it’s snowing.” It was freezing and I got so sick.
But my son’s sad voice stayed in my head and I said okay Rasha, let’s go show this little guy some snow lol. And I’m so glad we did because the kids had so much fun.
