My baby is now 2 years old and I think it is about time to share with you his nursery lol 😀

It wasn’t easy to find THE CRIB, since all the cribs I liked were so out of my budget, and the ones I can afford were so basic, so after a long long search, I found THE ONE on Amazon. It was white, sturdy and curvy. Yes you heard me curvy, I don’t know why but I didn’t like the straight lines cribs lol

As for the sofa bed, I wanted a sofa bed that didn’t look like a sofa bed ( funny right ). I had in mind a  luxurious and sophisticated nursery, so I had to have this GOLD TUFTED sofa bed from Urban Outfitters and it was the big splurge item in this room.

I bought this armoire long time ago even before I was pregnant, I wanted it to use it for the master bedroom but I’m so glad I didn’t. I can’t find the before picture but it was one of those ugly old brown armoires, I removed the doors because they were so ornate ( in an ugly way). My sweet husband paints it for me because I didn’t want to smell the paint while I was pregnant.

This chest was all brown, I painted it ( after the baby was born ) and added the foam and upholstered it. I use it to hide the pillow and blanket ( the one I use for the sofa bed)

And now some of the details:

And here is the prince enjoying his bedroom

  1. I love all of your jewel colors! It is so refreshing for a nursery! What a great place to come in and relax with a darling little one and you have such beautiful pieces in here that can be used for years. I adore the curvy bed – I would have picked that one too!

  2. Lovely. I miss your posting– your sense of style is terrific. Maybe things will get easier soon so you can update us. Who am I kidding? It hasn't gotten easier for me in nearly 12 years. 🙂
